There's a lot to be said for social networking in almost any business. However, there are a few things that, as both a reader and a writer, get under my skin.
1)-- Don't just send tweets and Facebook posts about "But my book"--yes, we all want someone to buy our book...but if you're one huge "buy me" pitch, it really does get old.
2)-- Don't advertise on my Facebook page. Seriously people, when I go to my wall and see a million links for other people's blogs, buy links, book promotions, etc.......
