Daily Sketch....Elders of the RuneStone - Hand

Elders of the RuneStone has been a long journey and a bit of an adventure. Quinn Johnson is the writer, creator and one of my best friends. He initially conceived the idea for EotR before we met, and it was in college that we decided to collaborate. A few years ago we had a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of the first 4 issues. We had a publisher set, and already had some of the art done. Pretty soon into production we had a few things run us off the rails, and between work schedules and other obligations EotR had to be set aside.
We've never set aside the people that backed us though, and we are still fulfilling orders of rewards, I'm doing commissions and progress is being done on the book. Last Summer I flew out to Salt Lake City Comic Con and we hashed out a plan to get EotR back on track. Meaning that I'd make progress on these Kickstarter commissions and we'd move along work on the book again. I can say that we've succeeded in making progress, a number of you got rewards, sketchbooks, and commissions throughout the year. Issue 4 is fully laid out and ready for pencils, Issue 3 only has a few pages left to do finished pencils and inks on, and luckily part of issue 4 is already done. So we aren't too far off.
We will finish out the project as initially proposed through Kickstarter, and while the publisher we were going to use is no longer in business we do have set up funds to get the graphic novels printed for the first 4 issue arc and extra materials to fulfill our Kickstarter backers and bring the book to shows and local shops.
Here's the first of a few EotR character shots that were done for Kickstarter rewards! This is Hand, one of the main bad guys and a great marital arts opposite to fan favorite character Adder!
