Hello, Menorca.

A romantic weekend.

Felix and I have talked about going away for a weekend since summer begun, and finally we decided to buy some plane tickets, book a hotel, and fly to Menorca.

We left on Friday, arriving at the hotel at around 5pm. Luckily, the weather was wonderful, and we had a few hours of sun left to enjoy before it got dark.

Bathing Suit: LOST INK

We left our bags at the hotel and run down to the gorgeous beach.

I loved the sandy beach, but having these massive rocks creating a moon shape around it was breathtaking.

This is Cala Galdana, if anyone is curious. My friend Anna often comes to Menorca, and she suggested that we would check out Cala Macarelleta, and even tho – on maps – they seem to be located quite nearby, going there by car would take around an hour. So we opted to stay in this area.

When the sun started to set, we knew it was time to get ready for dinner.

Dress: LAZZARI

After changing, we still couldn’t stay away from the beach: at this time, it was even more relaxing as most people were eating, so it was very quite and romantic.

On Saturday, our full day there, I really wanted to get to see a city.

We left the hotel in the morning and with a 30 minutes car ride, we reached Ciutadella de Menorca, which is the old town.

This place was so lovely, and had much more to offer than what I’ve expected.

Dress: VIVETTA

All the buildings and roads were so picturesque.

I kept taking photos everywhere.

Even tho the weather was pretty hot, it was also very windy, so walking around wasn’t painful but actually quite nice.

We walked across the main street, I believe, and ended up in a small square.

And there was this windmill, that looks like it would belong in Greece, but still looks amazing in this setting.

Bathing Suit: Top –ASOS // Bottom – ASOS

After lunch we got back to our hotel and enjoyed another afternoon at the beach.

We bought these ‘2014 Brazil’ rackets and tried to play in the water, but we didn’t manage to keep the ball going for long. But hey, it was still fun!

In the evening we decided to go on a restaurant build on the big rock I’ve photographed earlier: the setting was stunning, and the path there was so pretty.

OUTFIT: Dress – ASOS // Necklace – FAWNSTAR

I took the chance to wear a fancy dress. I’ve had this waiting to be worn, in my closet, for a while, so it was nice to be able to put it on.

It was a very quick trip, but getting a break to enjoy the sun, whilst being with each other for a couple of days, was all we wanted.

I still can’t get over the view.
