The Ponderings: How does a peanut get salted?

I was eating a bowl of my mom's salted peanuts, and my dad caught me off-guard. He said to me, "Here's a question for ya: How do they salt the inside of the peanut?" Since I didn't know the answer, I began to ponder the possibilities.
