Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you today in humility and repentance, asking You to forgive our sins and heal our land, particularly the government corruption and partisan division that is destroying our country. Have mercy, O God. Help each of us to forgive and love our enemies and to remove the log from our own eye before we seek to remove the splinter from our neighbor's eye. We pray for a Christian revival of love and salvation to sweep our nation that will have liberals and conservatives embracing one another and LISTENING to one another's concerns. Please unite us at the foot of the cross of Christ Jesus who died for the sins of the whole world.
Congressman Andy Biggs, Texas Repub. Rep. Louie Gohmert, and members of the Freedom Caucas are calling for Special Counsel Robert Mueller to recuse himself because of his long-standing friendship with James Comey and his partisan appointment of a number of attorneys who donated to Hillary's campaign. In Your Word, You told us to ASK and it will be given, to KNOCK and it will be answered. We are KNOCKING and ASKING that Robert Mueller recuse himself THIS WEEK or be forcibly removed IMMEDIATELY, and we ask this in the holy name of Jesus Christ. We pray for an end to this politically motivated witch hunt against our president. Please raise up men and women in our Congress with the courage and the character to take a stand on this issue NOW in Christ's holy name. By faith, we tear down Satan's strongholds and utterly destroy every weapon formed against our nation and our president.
We pray for the disillusioned and delusional in our country and in Europe where G20 "protestors" destroyed property and looted stores in a reckless protest against globalism, which President Trump also opposes. Please tear down the communication barriers that divide us and unify us on these important issues so that we can effectively fight the true enemies of our freedom, first in the spiritual realm through prayer and praise, and then in the physical realm by peaceful protest and activism.
We pray for Georgia health commissioner, Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald, who was selected as the new director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as she begins her duties, and for the CDC as they work to protect Americans from diseases . We pray for the Trump Administration as they lead America.
We thank You for answered prayer in the agreement made between President Trump and Putin for a cease fire in Syria. Please grant continued improvement in relations between Russia and the U.S., and for an end to the war in Syria. Please bless and empower President Trump as he negotiates with world leaders on these important matters. Thank you also for the Federal Court's decision to deny Hawaii's challenge to the definition of our president's travel ban. And thank You, Father, for the 222,000 jobs added to the U.S. economy in June, exceeding expectations. This is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus the Christ, Amen.
