July 4, 2017 …. “

I’ve never been big on flags & fireworks (unless my dad was around ;->)! I always knew there lurked underneath this shell of optimism, tolerance & compassion, a shadow side. People who, because of their ignorance, don’t like their brown-skinned neighbor or the Lesbian co-worker. $th of July always reminded me that those people, the haters. They who call us haters – know nothing about how deep our love & passion for not only our countrymen, but for all the people of the world, runs so deep that we cry when they cry. We hurt when they hurt. Most of us are doing fine ourselves, but we want EVERYONE to be doing fine. It is possible! We must KNOW & REMEMBER THAT! Our day will come.
