Intent on selling the property, Caleb and Ty clear out the cluttered farmhouse, but soon find themselves falling for the charming farm nestled between two misty-topped mountains, the lonely man who left it to them, and each other. You’d think I would have been prepared for how adorable and touching this short story turned out to be, given the author, but I’m just constantly surprised by the joy I get from reading @lilahsuzanne‘s work. All the delightful twists and turns keep “After the Sunset” fresh while it plays within a trope. There’s a wonderful sense of humor throughout too.
