I wish I could be like your friend Jane, too. My outlook on life would not be very good if I were in that situation. Yes, I have faith, but, I'll admit my faith is weak, smaller than a mustard seed. It's very sweet of you to go visit your friend. It's also nice that you brought the class reunion to her.~Cecelia Dowdy~

What a beautiful thing you and your classmates do for Jane. Her positive outlook is what draws all toward her wanting a piece of that wonderful outlook. God has given us compassion and empathy towards other in dire circumstances, but God has given more to us in finding someone as positive as Jane in her circumstances. Thank you for sharing Jane's positivity with us to remind us we can be so much more!
Yes, a positive attitude is the best way to get through life's ups and downs. Trusting in God to guide us is also the best way - HE knows everything about us. So glad you posted this positive post.
Please know you are a blessing to your friend more than you can ever know. Friendship is one of the MOST important need for someone who has chronic illness. Too often family is the only constant that uplifts a person. My husband has Progressive MS and is now quadraplegic -- TV and family are his only daily highlights [care-workers are so positive, too]. As often as I see others in grocery or Walmart, etc. who ask about him with my invite them to visit... none have "dropped in anytime after 10:30"
