Blog Block

It's really hard to write on a blog whan I can't find my login info. Coincidence or design? Good question. It's possible that I misplaced my password on purpose, because writing a blog is a lot like Erwyn writing in his journal - it strongly resembles talking to yourself on paper. I like to think it was an accident, though, because I'd hate to think that I was screwing myself up intentionally.

So...I am at LibertyCon XXX. We had to come. I mean, it's LIBERTYCON XXX!

LibertyCon Day One: Yesterday was a bad day for me. I was depressed and morose and thinking about hiding in my room for the entire weekend. I often think that I had more fun at cons BEFORE I sold a book. But then my scheduled programming started and everything was fine. A panel on Urban Fantasy. It was fun!

LibertyCon Day Two: Really long day. Sit & stitch, banquet, reading, the requisite vampire panel. And now I am sitting in "Author's Alley," where I am trying to sell copies of the latest Quest book. It's a little like doing a book signing where everyone around you has, like, a gazillion books to sell and sign when YOU only have one. But longer. In this case, 3 hours. Lots of waiting, talk to anyone who will stand still long enough, sell and sign one copy, back to waiting and trying to look happy/pleasant. Two copies and counting...only 1 hour and 35 mins to go.
