E-Recs: "Jane Bites Back" by Michael Thomas Ford

Jane Austen is alive...er, undead and kicking in FIVE TIME LAMMY WINNER Michael Thomas Ford's charming comedy Jane Bites Back. She owns her own bookstore in a small town in New York and suffers through the obnoxious commercializing of her name while she reaps nary a royalty from it. She is courted by suitors and danger, all the while trying to get a new novel published under another name. This is a very sweet read, witty and sarcastic with a few surprises. Delightful stuff.
