“I’m not so good

at writing love poems.

Mostly when most

of my life has been filled

with sorrow, heartbreak

and regret. I never thought

that I could write a poem

filled with love, hope

and longing for someone

who actually longs for me

in-return. But then I met you.

I fell in love with you

and now every word that touches

my pages are about how I have

never been this happy, this safe

and this in love. You: the holder

of my heart. You: the muse

of all my melodies.

You: the one who has shown me

what I’ve been looking for

for so long - you are my everything.”

- “When I found you, when I found love, I found a new voice inside of me,” - Colleen Brown (via mostlyfiction)
