That is a complex moral for a kid’s show.

That’s why this show was my favorite, why it still is–it touched on real topics, morals that most shows won’t touch.

It talked about death and how it affects people–how the aspirations of parents for one child smothered the other, how the death shifted those aspirations onto the other.

They asked questions like “Is it right to kill a living creature, even if it’s evil?”

It talked about what happiness is, what problems are, that just because your life isn't perfect doesn’t mean you aren't happy.

It talked about people, how we’re all different but can be united together through ourselves. How we don’t need to be the greatest person on the planet to be both loved and important.

We all have things we wish we’d never done, never said, they’ve changed us and hurt us and made us scared of making the mistakes again. But we can change.

This wasn’t a kids show, this was a lesson in life.

And everyone should take notice.
