Last week, Hurricane Irene stopped by for a visit, and was kind enough to pose for pictures. This week, Tropical Storm Lee did the same, and this time, the damage and devastation were much worse.

Vicki G I didn't even know you DID answer email and whatnot. My friend lives in NYC, and he stayed somewhere else during the hurricane, but that was an accident. Or more like what SOME people call a coincidence, but I've never believed in coincidences that are THAT much of a coincidence.
I mean I think the world is more than a collection of random happenings, and those people who think everything is happening in some chaotic fashion are starting to annoy me just a tad.
I believe in Science, I WORK in a science-the science of health care-but I don't believe everything is happening helter skelter down the pathway of my life. Of ANYone's life really.
Of course I'm not like that dimwitted pastor, Harold Camp, either. Who seems to apply worlds of meaning to practically nothing. That's the other end of the spectrum. I'd like to be in the middle if I can.
