My mom may have been the writer, but my dad taught me many things about creativity. He taught me to use my imagination and never limit it. He taught me to see beauty in unlikely places. He was an explorer and an artist, and I loved following him on adventures. I miss him today and every day, but I celebrate him every time I imagine a new story or write a new word.
