Beneath the Silent Moonlight

Where Whispers Fall Unheard,

He waits in Mythic Silence

While Shadows Linger, Undeterred;

Watching in the Twilight

Where she walks in Sorrow’s Shade,

Haunted by the Memory

of Beguiling Mistakes she’s made;

Mute Testament to Tragedy,

Witness of Lament and Toil,

Unnoticed Secret Watcher,

Friendless, Faithful Gargoyle.
