A possible blurb for my upcoming novel

I have a novel which I’m going to put up for pre-order shortly; it’s called Echoes of the Ancients, if you want to watch out for it.  But a lot of things have to be done in order to get it ready, and one of those things is the blurb.  I think I’ve got a pretty decent one hammered out, and here it is:
