I'm hard at work on a new character-driven series to be called The Lovely American Family Tree. It starts with a first generation British Immigrant, William Lovely, who comes to Virginia as an indentured servant, and each other novel in the series continues to follow the family tree for the next nine generations. Though the plotting out of the ten-novel series is not yet completed, the writing of the first novel, Indentured Love, has begun. The series starts in the early 1700s and some of the prominent characters will make appearances in only one novel while others, like William Lovely, will make appearances over several. And, instead of labeling each novel in the series with a volume number, they'll be labeled by generation.
Oh, and there will be a very, very surprising revelation, which may make your jaw drop, at the end of the series -the tenth generation's novel.
I'm hoping to have the first novel completed and released by November of this year.
