Hello, I’m Isabel, and I write.

I should be more specific.  I write science fiction, fantasy, and fanfic.  I list fanfic as a separate genre because as far as I’m concerned, that’s exactly what it is: a genre, no less honorable than science fiction or fantasy despite the fact that relatively few people manage to get paid for it these days.  Occasionally, I try mixing the odd romance in with the science fiction and fantasy, but it’s not really my strength and I often do without it.  Some of my...
