"Five Poisoned Apples" Cover Reveal and Contest Info
Today's the day you've been waiting for! The day that Rooglewood Press announces their final fairy tale retelling contest! And I get to be part of the reveal, so here it is:

Nice! I'll be interested in hearing how that experience goes. Do you have any idea approximately how many entries will come in/how much reading you'll do?
They estimate I'll be reading about 10 entries -- they have a whole panel of judges like me to read the initial entries, and then we each choose the best of the ones we've read and recommend them to the final judge, who chooses the winners.
So interesting. A bit of a tough system, too, it sounds like, if each author only has a shot at winning if their particular initial judge likes them best.
Judging is a weighty responsibility! As I'm learning right now while judging the INSPY awards.
