I enjoyed the book and the characters. I thought the 'surprise ending' was a little forced. I don't think this ranks with her best novels, but it was good. One of my biggest complaints is in the list of 'Also by Nora Roberts' it lists 'Tonight and Always between 'The Collector' and 'The Liar'. I couldn't believe I had missed one of her books, so I looked at the review on Amazon and saw that this was another of her very old books that had been republished. Nora has to have enough money that she doesn't need to mislead her readers into buying old books thinking they are new!

I just finished reading Come Sundown. There are parts that are very suspenseful and other parts drag along. I finished the book in two days because I couldn't put it down. I can tell you that I had nightmares after reading the first night. I can't say it was the best book that I have read of hers but I did enjoy reading it.
