In the latest Glimmer Train bulletin, there's an amazing piece by Melanie Rae Thon, "The Heart Breaks, and Breaks Open: Seven Reasons to Tell a Story in 2011." Here's a small snippet:


… [E]very time you remember an episode of your life, you are reinventing it: embellishing, deleting, altering it through fusion and imagination.


If you cannot imagine, you cannot remember.


There is no such thing as "I."


Re-membering is transformation!


Every person on this earth is a storyteller.

Jeff Darling It is a good story other than the "t5here is no I" part. This is not.

Tim I agree, as the old saying goes: 'everyone has a story in them'
Some of us are lucky enough to be able to put it into print and share our story with the world ...

I do actually,(not to the extent I did in the 70s) but for the fact the more I understand of science and people, the real mystery, the only certain one is the fact Of 'I'. I think many scientifically trained people would at least partly agree. It may simply be opinion or perspective.
