A traitor can be many things—a betrayer, imposter, spy, deserter, rebel. A traitor can have many reasons for doing what they did—money, greed, politics, principal, sheer insanity, even love. For today’s prompt, who is this person? Who were they disloyal to? Why did they do it? Was it a matter of life and death? To climb a social ladder? For evil? To save all of humanity? Because there was only one ice cream bar/cheese stick/can of beer left in the fridge?
