Everyone always talks about what you'd bring to a desert island. Well, you are going to be stuck for an indeterminate amount of time by yourself in the Arctic. You will be supplied with an igloo, clothes, blankets and basic foodstuffs. What else will you bring?
Wouldn't a heater just melt you out of a shelter? LOL I might opt for my feather down comforter, a stack of really good books (and I mean no less then fifty), a photo album of my kids, one of my daughter's stuffed animals, matches, a flashlight, extra batteries, a cd player with my cd's, lots of chap-stick, lotion, tissues, tp, a pair of really good winter hiking boots, bottled water, cheddar cheese and chicken in a biscuit crackers! :) I will stop there because I'm sure I could think of a million other things to bring. :)
:) My survivor instincts (or comfort instincts rather), kick in overdrive I suppose, because I live in Texas near the gulf. We get hammered with so many storms. I've had to work around not having electricity entirely too many times! :)
