Eric Himan has accumulated quite a following in the last few years, and it's not due to his looks alone. When most gay artists are lending their talents to dance or club styles, he's one of the few openly gay singer songwriter/folkies out there. And he's very good. If I were going to compare him to someone I would say he's close to Tracy Chapman. He's got the same soul baring quality of voice. Recently I received from the artist himself a cover of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer" (a song that I've long thought very homoerotic, for some reason) and he took that song into a whole other place, both sad and sexy. He's played constantly on Sirius stations, so check him out.
