Or perhaps she just found out he’s been using her for her money and is none too happy about it. Maybe she is an assassin. But is she one of the good guys or does she work for an evil syndicate? What if she’s being blackmailed and is insisting her wealthy boss/ex/neighbor her save her brother/sister/child? Who knows, maybe he was late—again—picking her up for a date.
