Dipping my toes into Instagram...

I made the leap to Instagram, after telling myself I already had too many social venues. ;) But knowing that I could plug three of them in to post simultaneously with IG sealed the deal for me.

If you'd like to find me there, I'm @aghoward_writes. And if you have any useful tips, I'd love to hear them!

K.A. Wiggins For authors, posting photos of what you're reading (#bookstagram !) in addition to shots of your own books is a great way to connect with a community of readers and not fall too far into self promotion/memes/my-daily-life ruts. Or ask readers to IG your book and tag you and then repost those, tagging them back so you both grow each others' accounts. And there are sort of games that bookstagrammers engage in, like Follow Train, Shoutout-for-Shoutout, giveaways etc. that can be a great way to build your following.
