TinkerThis is another of those words that I tend to use quite often.
Not to be confused with tinkle, okay, although that is another term easily associable to me.
As we discussed last week, I often do things without any significant training or preparation. It is quite akin to jumping into the water and then learning to swim just to survive.
That is actually quite similar to how I actually learnt swimming; of course, in my case, it involved less of jumping and more of being hurled into the pool.
Oddly enough, this is how I do most things.
Now, when you learn or create anything this way, you will always know its every imperfection. You know all the faults in your form, all the chinks in your armour, all the rough edges.
Thereafter, all you can do is this: keep improving it, for hours, days, months, years…
Sometimes, it does helps, and sometimes it doesn’t. Occasionally, it can even cause a catastrophic failure.
But what else can you do?
“If you look for perfection, you’ll never be content.”
