Retreating to Move Forward

Earlier this month, I participated in my first writers retreat, sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. I’ve belonged to the group for a number of years, but as a long-distance, on line member, since most of their meetings are too far away. However, when I saw that their retreat would take place within an hour’s drive, I jumped at the chance to give it a try.
