Sant Jordi And El Clásico: Thoughts National Identity And Integration

We won’t be talking about the French Presidentials today as very little is likely to change now. April 23rd is one of Catalonia’s National Days, the equivalent of Saint Valentine’s Day, when lovers give each other books and roses. Later on, FC Barcelona are playing Real Madrid in Madrid. Both are clear tests of national identity.
