S is for Shadow

For
this year’s A to Z Challenge, I’m writing drabbles based on words I got from a
random word generator.  A drabble is a
short piece of fiction of exactly 100 words.

Shadow



“No one said causing the
apocalypse would be easy,” The Shadow whispered.

Scarlett shook her head.  The Shadow had been visiting her entire life,
delivering messages into her impressionable ear.  “If
