Two Years Later - Some Things Haven't Changed!
Two years ago (17th April 2015) I put a post on here to say how much I was enjoying my 'writing journey' & the fact it was the daily 'job' I'd always desired.
My sentiments today are still pretty much the same as they were back then.
The numbers in that original post have now changed.....
I'm two years older for one - and I now have four books 'out there' rather than just the solitary one.
The release of the fifth novel may just have to wait a while - until I get up to Wyoming to capture a few suitable pictures for the cover.

I'm very pleased if what I wrote possibly helped you in some small way with your own 'writing journey'.
Sometimes it's difficult 'to see the wood for the trees' in the writing process - but then somehow it all turns out okay in the end.
'World Famous Jokes' eh?
Ha - I was the kid you likely knew when you were growing up who could only remember one joke at a time. Somehow I'd hear them said but they'd never stick so I could get to repeat them myself!
I hope you find something in the 4 books I have 'out there' to pique your interest.

PS - I've just noticed you're a resident of AZ.
You don't by any chance have a relation by the name of Lonnie Morrison living down in Dragoon, southern AZ? It's just that Lonnie and his wife Sarah are good friends of ours, and we always spend some time with them when we get over your way.
Last year Lonnie & Sarah did us the best steak in our whole holiday!
It's just a pity it happened in the very first week of being over there - everything afterwards didn't quite match up to that meal haha. Although the company (eating with them) itself likely had a lot to do with the pleasure of the meal.....

Great to hear from you, Chris!No, I am not related to any Morrisons anywhere in Arizona, but, interestingly, Dragoon is not very far from where I am, Whetstone.
Cochise County is, as you know, very significant historically, as well as geographically.
Next time you're coming, I hope I get to meet you.

Hi Michael.We've never been to Whetstone but have spent a lot of time in Cochise County.
We've stayed in Tombstone on several occasions over the years & last year visited the town twice while staying in Tucson - a place I've come to think of as my 2nd home!
While there's no denying Tombstone is very touristy at the same time it's still a great place to spend time.
On the first visit last year we took some friends with us from CA (who travelled the 800 miles across to Tucson to spend a few days in our company - despite the fact we'd never actually 'spoken' before!) as they'd never been that far south in AZ.
It was at the Grapevine Canyon Ranch just outside Sunsites where I had my 'epiphany moment' back in 2009. It was then I decided I was going to write westerns.
Until visiting there I had no great urge to do so.
I guess it had to do with the fact the world looks a whole lot nicer when viewed from the back of a horse haha.
Not to mention I'd fallen under the spell of both Arizona & New Mexico by the end of it.
It would be great to meet up the next time we're over.
I've made a note to get in touch with you with the dates etc before we leave the UK.
I'll give you plenty of notice, of course.

And I'm re-writing a play from my college days of (gasp) more than 30 years ago with the intention of having it produced, perhaps as a video, and to be included in a collection of one-act plays.
You have the right attitude, Chris, and I will be seeking all of your books, seeking them in fact, before this week is out.
