Why aren't you a fan of the "Daughter of Zeus" origin? Also, are you able to say if anyone at DC has approached you to help develop a "Secret Six" movie? Seems like one could help alleviate a lot of the criticisms "Suicide Squad" received last summer. I

I don’t feel the origin needed changing. We had ONE iconic superhero origin that was about women. One out of all the major characters. Now we don’t, and I don’t think it added anything. I think it’s a terrible idea and always will.  Has nothing to do with the execution, I just find it annoying.

And I have not been approached about any Secret Six pitches. My understanding is, a) they think the title “SUICIDE SQUAD” is more effective to non-readers than “SECRET SIX” (I agree) and b) the concepts are pretty similar and they don’t want to confuse the two.

I would have zero problem with them adding some Secret Six elements, though. Even John Ostrander said he felt the movie Deadshot was more my version than his.

And finally, Suicide Squad is a classic comic, one of my favorites. I am happy it got made into a film!
