There have been two studies for this, for Africa and India. Dr. M. G. Lee Badgett presented a preliminary study for India at the World Bank: 1,7% of the GDP could have been lost due to homophobia.
Adebisi Alimi, a LGBT activist, did a similar calculation for Nigeria and Africa. He talks about 1% of the GDP of Nigeria being lost to homophobia. And that's only one country.
