Bring a Long Fork

Jeddah Sampson sat at the edge of the big thicket.
It was a patch of land that lay between the ranches. The areas which covered the hundreds of thousands of acres each ranch spread out over. All of them collided at one point or another and each landowner had come to agree that letting that area go feral would be more cost effective than fighting in courts over lines that no one could see.
Much less the extra cost of reclamation.
