"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).
Its so easy to get carried away by what one reads. Do you find that true?
For authors trying to make a living, its also easy to focus on entertainment more than edification, on fun more than faith, and on the temporal more than the eternal.
As for me and my books, I pray over my novels and novellas. I pray that they will ultimately give God the glory. It takes time to write books. I would want to use my time wisely.
Happy reading!
Joyfully,
Jan
