Where'd The Paparazzi Go

In a world of digital print, press, and publish; it seems Author's are being quick fertilized and born overnight. The e-ppeal is just too strong to resist. Urging a generation to abandon years of honing a skill to perfection all in a get rich quick scheme. Hold the presses right there Sally (no offense to the Sally's of the World). The life of the Writer ain't exactly one of glitz and glamour. Whoever said "all that glitters ain't gold" must have been an Author. Unless you've made some sweet deal with the Devil or the Heavens have parted especially for you in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Author's Spirit; then paparazzi is not exactly in your rear view mirror. Be you aspiring, emerging, several seasons in, or a veteran... my guess is that you're not in it for the fame, you're especially not in it for the money. This is one of those professions whose residents had a special calling. We eat, sleep, and breathe that which we love. And when you're passionate to that extent, the nonexistent paparazzi ain't that disappointing. Do it for the love of the written word.
