Seeing Island has ended, what do you think were the shortcomings of the series? Speaking for myself, I was on board for the first 4-5 issues but then the stories got a bit "out there" that i was not able to find any connection with the characters or story.

Maybe it was too ambitious to go 15 issues in a row. the initial plan was to do 4 or 6 issues and then if that worked out come out with another series called Another Island. but there are so many creators whose work I’m excited about it was hard to not want to run as much as possible.

I feel like ideally I would like longer issues with more room for extra content -articles and illustration sections. the book needing to make money cut into that stuff. In the end it was what it was. I’m glad I got to see what would happen if I did it for 15 issues.
