Book of Joel, Book Two
To those just getting started with this blog or if you've been reading my free chapters I've been posting, you probably don't know me. My name is Nicholas McGirr, author of 3 novelettes, 2 fiction novels and many other articles.
I have a degree in English and another in Journalism. But that's beside the point of this blog post. The point of this post is to give you an inside look at my current project entitled Book Two: Book of Joel.
If you're reading Growing Dim, or you are waiting for me to post the next chapter, I won't give any spoilers here, promise.
What I will give you is that this next book is going to change the way you think of life, death, religion and the afterlife. And that is Book of Joel's intent, to change the way you think.
I'm not exactly sure how far this book will reach, but the intention is to stir up enough emotion and interest that through this book, I will have raised questions that have never been answered.
The afterlife is a topic that most religions and beliefs have a theory, but with minimal evidence, there isn't much more thought put into it. We've seen films and read books that challenged our thinking, but have we actually seen a film or read a book that challenged our actions? If there are any, it is personal to you, the reader or watcher of that film.
What I'm aiming to do with Book of Joel is to provide a movement that will not only change your thinking, but it will change your actions. I don't want to give too much away here, but I believe that I have found a movement that will affect the world. Regardless of whether it is inside a fiction book or not, I believe that the movement proposed in Book of Joel, could change the world.
So for those of you that feel like one person can't make that much of a difference, I take your challenge. I will change the world with this book.
So you are probably asking yourself how am I going to do this with a FICTION book? There are doctors publishing books about health and wellness, diets and nutrition and the like and well, they haven't changed the entire WORLD!
I am asking that you read Growing Dim to get the full back story of my lead character: Crossman McKnight. Book of Joel will take you on his journey further and then by the end of the book, I promise you will have more questions rolling around in your head about the way you think, the way you were raised and how you will act going forward than ever before.
Read Growing Dim today, and Book of Joel will be released very soon.
