Tuesday started off as a normal work day for me. I drank multiple cups of coffee in preparation for the weekly, two-hour, staff meeting. In the back of my mind I realized it was also the day calls would be made to the nominees in Romance Writers of America’s RITA and Golden Heart finalists, but I had more important things on my mind.
