‘Star Trek’ Icon Nichelle Nichols to Take Part in NASA Mission

My husband & some of his buddies are the big Trekkies. I actually prefer the new movies with the young folks. But Nichelle Nichols was a game changer for the advancement of Blacks. I understand she was bored with the part, but was asked my MLK to keep doing it because it was important for blacks to see themselves on TV! Very cool lady! ;-). ❤
