Celebrate Pi Day, March 14th (3/14), 2017, this year with Discovery Education (DE). DE is hosting a live viewing party to celebrate this epic day with plenty of fun and learning activities centered around Pi. The virtual party is from 11am – 3pm (ET) and will be an exciting event for your students. If you have never attended a DE virtual party, the excerpt from their website explains what to expect.
What is a Virtual Party?A virtual party, just like an in-person party, is an opportunity to get together and celebrate. Using Twitter and Facebook, throughout the day we’ll be hosting a number of Pi Day activities, sharing some Pi Day facts, and celebrating math and science in everyday life. Within the next couple of days, we’ll be publishing a schedule of when specific activities will take place. As the event is virtual, if your schedule doesn’t permit you to participate at that time, join in when you can. You’ll be able to see what’s been posted and join in the conversation all day long.
