Sabbath Rest Book Talk: March 2017 (Theme: Justice)

[image error]Last night I had the opportunity to join in author Erin McCole Cupp’s Sabbath Rest Book Talk. Erin has been producing these short fiction talks built around a specific theme for several months, but this is the first group edition in which she was joined by the lovely Rebecca Willen and me!

My behind-the-scenes extras:

I first read To Kill a Mockingbird six years ago. I used Cliffnotes (for the first time in my life) and a video to refresh my memory of the story.
Right before we started, my computer wanted to download new software. I made a quick switch to laptop, which sat at a different height on the desk. So that I didn’t look like I was sitting on a high perch, I knelt through the entire video.
Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel was one of my person childhood favorites.
More from the Barbara Golder, author of  Dying for Revenge in this National Public Radio interview.

Take a look and see how we did!

Join us April 5 when the theme is self-sacrifice, and we discuss The Well by Stephanie Landsem, The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, and I Am Margaret by Corinna Turner.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY! STAY A WHILE AND LOOK AROUND. LEAVE A COMMENT. SHARE WITH A FRIEND. IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE, PLEASE SIGN UP FROM MY AUTHOR NEWSLETTER TO KEEP UP-TO-DATE ON NEW RELEASES, EXTRAS, AND HOT DEALS!
