Marching Into March

My, how quickly this year is going by already. As I've already said to a few of my dear friends here on Goodreads, I wish life would slow down. Don't you?
On this first Saturday in March, 2017, I find myself staring at a robin's egg blue sky, slashed only once with a cloud on the horizon. The wind was cruel, this morning, biting and strong, but I think it's died down a bit, since the trees are at a perfect standstill at present.
One of my dearest friends and I walked in my back pasture yesterday, where I showed her the burnt grass on my property, and the line where the fire stopped. I call it the Hand of Mercy, because you can almost see the hand of the Lord preventing the fire from getting too close to our house. My heart started beating with excitement as I could see little tiny shoots of green grass penetrating through the thick gray tufts of what used to be grass! Does that mean spring is on it's way?
Spring has been whispering of it's arrival lately. The birds have been returning and singing their little hearts out every morning. The weather has been warm, like a fleece blanket. And the grass has begun to shed some of it's brown color and replace it with fresh green. Yes, I know, we must pass through a few months of winter, but it seems that Spring is on it's way and will arrive soon.
Who is excited for spring? I have been enjoying the winter months, and a few of the colder days have fit how I felt perfectly. But I'm ready for spring to come and thaw the frozen ground again. Do you have a favorite thing about spring? Any favorite memories or something you're looking forward to? If so, feel free to comment below. I'd love to read what my readers thing of the warming months ahead!

Jasmine Shadows Spring reminds me of a fresh beginning. I love the birds singing and flying about making their nests afresh. What in the world would it be like to have to build yourself a new home about every six months. Praises to Yahweh that I don't need to do that. I do appreciate the freshness of spring. I love living in an area that has seasonal changes. It is a joy to see the difference each one brings. Spring to me is fresh air, rain, spring green and of course my favorite....all the birds singing!

Chaya & Cinnamon I love the beauty of spring (and the beauty of winter, and summer, and autumn.) :) I love Passover and look forward to the Seder and the matzoh. :D I love knowing in my soul that Yeshua is our Pesach Lamb, our promised Mashiach (Messiah). :)
That is so cool seeing the green growing and how He protected your place, Autumn. :)

@Jasmine ~ I love the green and the birds singing, too! :)

Autumn Slaght To Jasmine: I cannot imagine me building a home every six months, lol. That would drive me crazy! (More than I already am.) Thank you for your poetic comment! It means a lot to me and I delighted to read it.

To Chaya I always love your comments. ^.^ Yes, Yeshua is our Messiah! I think that's another thing about the Springtime that I love! The warm sunshine reminds me of that morning, when the sun broke the horizon and our Lord Messiah and Savior Jesus (Yeshua) was risen from the dead! That moment fills me with unspeakable joy!

Chaya & Cinnamon blessings to you this springtime. Yes is it not the grandest time to remember that Yeshua gave new life to us by giving His life as the true Lamb. Is He not the most wonderful Messiah. His kindness is for all seasons, and His beauty is beyond anything of His creation. He gave the wonder of spring the true Wonder of Himself. Do you not find this a wonderful way that He used the season of new life to give us new life. May your Passover Seder be the most joyous time of the year. May Yahweh
grant you blessings and joy for the heart that you have for Him.

Jasmine Shadows Autumn may I just say that as the challenge of tomorrow looms for us on the other side of the sunrise we will remember that although we will be unable to see the sunshine out of doors we can praise out great King that we did not have to build an ark today. Remember it took Noah 100 years. We will simply have hours and we will remember the flood waters have receded. Our strength will come from Abba Father. Our joy will come from Him. Our wisdom as we make the next decision will come from Him. May we faithfully follow His direction and then all will be well and we will have peace in the storm (and the flood cleanup).

All humor aside. We will walk the road that He has laid before us, and we will find the peace and joy that only comes from Him.

Autumn Slaght *smiles* Beautiful as ever, Jasmine. Thank you, thank you, I always need that reminder. Weeping for a night, but joy comes in the morning. His anger is but for a moment, His favor, for a lifetime. Morning will come. :) Amen and amen to what you so beautifully said.

Jasmine Shadows Weeping is difficult for a season, but it cleanses. Oh how it cleanses. Yes morning will come, and when it does the sun will bring light to so much. Remember every night is holding back a sunrise. God is faithful and morning has come.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Thank you for your prayers. As we grow closer to the time when we shall see Yeshua face to face I rejoice. I will meet you face to face then as well. Is is not the grandest joy to know that we are never alone. We are always under the care of the most caring Lord. May we all grow closer to Him and find our relationship with our Great God ever deepening into an intimacy that fills us to the very top of our being. May we find such joy in our service to Him that we never fall away from our walk with such a wonderful Lord and Master. I want to belong to no other. God bless you as well, and you will be in my prayers too!
