MAKING PROGRESS
Writing has been hard to come by so far.
It's either the inspiration to write is challenging to find or time itself isn't on my side. However, idea's are still flowing and a plan is in place. A slow plan, but a plan nevertheless.
While I'm not writing as much as I'd like to, I'm still making progress by taking steps in getting the word out on myself and current works. I encourage all writers (or anyone in a creative field for that matter) to do this.
I've had the promotional help of Indie Book Butler (http://www.indiebookbutler.com), Independent Author Network (http://www.independentauthornetwork.com/) and am working on actual print advertisement (more on that when the time is right). So while things (including myself, admittedly) make writing harder, that's still no excuse not to make progress in other ways.
Look into marketing your work and yourself, read a new book to gain a little more inspiration and always keep it in your head to stay active with your social media followers and people outside of your creative world.
After these busy weeks clear up, I do intend to get back on the writing horse. My initial goal of having a full length story out by end of the year may still happen, but I've gotta work hard at it.
Work hard at it too and you'll see your work, and yourself, make the creative gains towards that next step. I hope to bring about something special soon so we can share in that success.
Stay Gold
