In need of work
I got rejected from a job today.
I’m also completely exhausted of working these part-time customer service jobs just so that I have enough money to work on comics in my free time. I’ve been going that route for years, and it’s old and tired. I’ve spent a really long time building up my craft, going to grad school to study comics, putting a lot of blood, sweat and tears (and money) into a future in comics that I’ll never see unless I can put my all into it.
For the last six years, I’ve continually had to put comics on the back burner in favor of something completely unrelated so that I would have money to eat. Between day jobs, commissions, and real life, I hardly have any time for comics at all. And I’m really, really tired of it.
So I’m looking for comics work. If anyone needs an artist or knows of someone who could use one, please contact me (here is my online portfolio). Tumblr commissions are great, but they aren’t a reliable form of income month to month, and they unfortunately don’t do much to help forward a comic career.
You can also support me by buying me a coffee or buying something from my store. I also have a Patreon page where I post backer exclusive art and progress pictures (I’m working on a P4 fancomic that will be exclusive to Patreon backers!). Otherwise, you can just help me spread the word.
Thanks for your support everyone. I’ve been in comics since 2010, and it’s been a wild ride. I’d like to not have to put it all down for the sake of money after I’ve come this far.
Pickles is awesome and talented and deserves a paying gig. Hit her up.
