The Milo Yiannpoulos Affair: Has The Mainstream Media Taken A Scalp?

Following the confirmation that Milo Yiannopoulos would be speaking at CPAC, news that he was a supporter of underage gay sex. This was obviously a hit piece because the claims were based on off the cuff remarks made on a livestream and a podcast in 2015. However, his speech was cancelled and his publisher Simon & Schuster announced that they will not be releasing his new book, Dangerous, which is due out next month. So the scandal has definitely done some personal damage but has the mainstream media managed to take this libertarian MVP down?
