The Aurealis Award shortlists have been released.
And I’m on three of them. Three! I’m like a goldfish knocked out of the tank here, rolling around and gaping. Honestly, the Aurealis Awards are the premier Australian award for spec fic and the shortlists are always astounding. To be nominated in three categories is mind-blowing. I’ve been shortlisted for Best Collection for Crow Shine, Best Horror Novella for “Served Cold” (from the Dreaming in the Dark anthology), and Best Fantasy Novella for “Raven’s First Flight” (from the SNAFU: Black Ops anthology).
