Kitty update and thanks to all those who sent prayers and good wishes

So Kitty had this weird balance thing Friday. She started acting drunk and stumbling. They decided it was inner ear and that is hard to see in examination. We did meds and she was doing better, really great, yesterday. Then suddenly today she seemed to almost have a seizure and her head started bobbing. Diego freaked and started yelling for me and we went straight to the car. Kitty was so scary the entire way there and at the vest. She kept bobbing her head and shaking her head. Then she'd lose all sense of focus and balance.

So the vet tested for ear polyps and did blood work and nothing showed up. They sedated her and went in and looked for obvious ear cancer. She had another episode at vet which at least let her see what happens. So as the vet told us what might be wrong I lost it. I was balling. It could be a blood clot, or a tumor, or heart condition. The blood clot could have caused a stroke. OR just a really bad inner ear infection that the meds just aren't working on but the blood work doesn't support that. Still I can't help but cling to hope. Special test was sent off to see if its a blood clot. So now we wait and pray it wasn't a stroke and she isn't going to have another before we know. If none of this, including new antibiotics, gives us answers, then we have to go have an MRI.

This cat is like my best friend outside of Diego. I love her and she is by my side every single word I write. Needless to say, I will be watching her closely the next few days. She is only 4 years old so they said cancer is unlikely and that was good to hear too.

So again — thank you all for the love and support!
