Expansion of the mind
When Lucy stood up in the African savannah for the first time, she demonstrated that humans could be fundamentally different from those who perished before them. Her mind was expanding and her thoughts, accelerating. With danger all around her, she was willing to explore information and that eventually propelled humans out of Africa and into the unknown. The expansion of the mind was the only attribute that positioned humans that fueled them out of mediocrity. However, recent history tells us that they are prone to recurrence of ignorance.
Humans seem to have been successful in rewinding the progression of knowledge back - something that seldom happened for hundred thousand years. Knowledge has always been expected to have a positive slope, and for most of the human history that was true. For the past several months, it has substantially deviated from the expected norm as those with little knowledge seem to drive humanity to the edge of disaster. As the seven billion cling together hoping for a better tomorrow, a few in artificial hair, black garments and collared jackets seem to have been able to hold them prisoners. Whether they have hotels across the world, want to put holed garments on their women or want to shoot missiles as they suffer from Diabetes and Gout, they are all the same. It is worthwhile to note that none of these psychopaths are women, for the opposite gender could never swoop that low.
It is ironic that less than 0.0000001% of humans hold the rest of them hostage. For those seeking an extraterrestrial visit, rest assured that no intelligent entity will ever visit the Earth - It is simply not worth it.
