Science, As We Know It Now

Did you ever wonder where that clean fresh water we like to drink, bathe, and swim in came from?I have, since the theory that water came from icy comets has many flaws to it.Mainly, because it has been proven that comets contain mostlyHeavy Water."Heavy water is a form of water that contains a larger than normal amount of the hydrogen isotope deuterium, rather than the common hydrogen-1 isotope that makes up most of the hydrogen in normal water. The presence of deuterium gives the chemical different nuclear properties, and the increase of mass gives it different physical and chemical properties compared to normal light water."- WikipediaSo I am a believer in the newest theory on the block. Did Earth makes its own water deep in the mantle? New theory could solve the mystery of our planet's liquid past. By "Scientists have long been perplexed by the mystery of how Earth got its water, with many suggesting it formed after icy comets collided with our planet billions of years ago. But, a new study suggest it may have been born within Earth itself. New computer simulations show how reactions between liquid hydrogen and quartz in the upper mantle could form water – and the researchers say this could trigger earthquakes deep below the surface. The study examined the reaction of silicon dioxide and liquid hydrogen at varying temperatures and pressures found in the upper mantle, roughly 40-400 kilometers deep (24-248 miles), according to New Scientist. This revealed that, at about 1400°C and with pressure 20,000 times higher than atmospheric pressure, the silica and hydrogen react in a way that produces liquid water and silicon hydride. Silica is found widely throughout the planet, with quartz being it’s most common and stable form, and researchers say it’s possible that a reaction of this kind – rather than an extraterrestrial object – produced water on Earth."  This next story,I never knew was a problem,or phobia.I just thought people had bad obnoxious behavioral patterns that just annoyed me.  Misophonia: Scientists crack why eating sounds can make people angry. By James Gallagher Health and science reporter, BBC News website"The condition, misophonia, is far more than simply disliking noises such as nails being scraped down a blackboard. I feel there's a threat and get the urge to lash out - it's the fight or flight response, says Olana Tansley-Hancock, 29, from Kent. UK scientists have shown some people's brains become hardwired to produce an "excessive" emotional response. Olana developed the condition when she was eight years old. Her trigger sounds include breathing, eating and rustling noises. She told BBC News: Anyone eating crisps is always going to set me off, the rustle of the packet is enough to start a reaction. It's not a general annoyance, it's an immediate 'Oh my God, what is that sound?' I need to get away from it or stop it. I spent a long time avoiding places like the cinema. I'd have to move carriages seven or eight times on 30-minute train journeys, and I left a job after three months as I spent more time crying and having panic attacks than working. The results, published in the journal Current Biology, revealed the part of the brain that joins our senses with our emotions - the anterior insular cortex - was overly active in misophonia. And it was wired up and connected to other parts of the brain differently in those with misophonia."
Since,my phobia still thinks it's obnoxious people making all the noise,I am not so sure what to make of this study. Is it a waste of money,or are we helping some people?

I know the way my generation grew up.I was told to get over itor get a good whipping.I know you can't whip anyone anymore, but I will tell you something.I was cured of a lot of phobias growing up,very quickly!
This is,Quoting Proverbs 29:15The rod and rebuke give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother. And I Have The Wisdom To Prove It Jim Hauenstein,
